Announcements

 

 Pec-Argyle football has been nominated as the state “team of the week.”  As of this morning, we were the leader in votes.  Voting is open until 4:00 PM today at www.wissports.net.  

 

There will be a sophomore class meeting in Ms. Lombardo’s room during break today. 

 

Student Council will meet during lunch recess in room 131 today. 

 

Friday morning there is no play practice because of Homecoming. 

 

Some reminders for the next few days regarding Homecoming: 

 

Friday morning is float construction time.  Be sure to have all your supplies with you, students are not able to leave to get anything! 

 

Homecoming court should meet in the cafetorium at 11:00 for practice. 

 

6-12 lunch tomorrow is a picnic at the park compliments of the Booster Club.  Regular lunch times for the middle and high school. 

 

Friday afternoon the middle school is going bowling while the high school students have games at the park.  Permission slips and the $5.00 for bowling should be turned in to Mr. Erickson today.    After the games, the hallway decorations need to be cleaned up before students leave. 

 

Friday evening at 7:00 PM is a pep rally and bon fire starting with a Snake Dance to the park from the Fire House. 

 

Saturday morning the Court members should meet at the school between 11:15 to 11:30 to get the signs put on their cars.  Parade line-up is at 11:30 at the top of main hill. 

 

Floats should be brought back to the shop area after the parade to be taken down and garbage put in the dumpsters. 

 

The Punt, Pass & Kick winners who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd places should meet at the Nick Dammen concession stand area no later than 1:15 PM.  You will receive awards before the game begins.  Game time is 2:00.  The court will be introduced at half-time of the game.

 

The dance starts at 8:00 PM with the Grand March at 9:00.  Cost is $5.00 for couples, $3.00 for singles and $2.00 for spectators.  Remember that this is a dress-up dance – no jeans, no tennis shoes. 

 

Tuxes should be returned to the office on Monday morning. 

 

Monday morning play practice at 6:15.  You will be going all the way through the prologue to scene 6.  Be there on time and ready.  Please by studying your lines. 

 

There will be a Spanish Club meeting in Mrs. Buss’s room on Tuesday during snack break to elect officers. 

 

MECA Sportswear will be here on Tuesday to take orders for letter jackets during break.  A $75.00 deposit is required on order day.  An informational letter that explains pricing can be picked up in the office.
