Juniors will practice for Grand March during 4th hour today.

Prom starts at 8:00 PM with Grand March at 9:00. Couples are $5.00, singles are $3.00 and spectators are $2.00. Please come dressed in formal wear – no jeans, no tennis shoes. Make sure your dates are also aware of the dress code. Have fun.

Results from the MS track meet are in. Several students placed in the top six and received ribbons. Sydney placed 6th in the 400 meter dash and also placed 3rd in the mile. Troy placed 3rd in the mile. The relay team consisting of Payton, Miken, Troy and Alex placed 5th in the 4 x 100. The girls relay team consisting of Rachel, McKenzee, Claudia and Sydney placed 2nd in their 4 x 100 relay. The relay team consisting of Maggie, Kyah, Olivia and Chesney placed 6th in the 4 x 100 relay. And Leah placed 3rd in the shot put. Congratulations – this was a huge area meet.

Remember to pick up a form for Summer School in the office if you are thinking of keeping your brain and body active during summer break.

If you were in the school play “El Phantismo,” see Mrs. Fischer in the library to get a DVD copy of the performance for free.

It is time to return the library materials you have finished reading. There are lists available in the library if you aren’t sure what you have checked out.

The Lafayette County Relay for Life is being held in Darlington on Saturday, June 25. To support this cancer fundraiser, everyone is invited to wear purple on Wed, May 18 and/or donate $1.00 for a purple flower displayed in the hall near the office.

FFA Food for America is scheduled for Wednesday, May 11. FFA members will be helping throughout the day. Remember to do a pre-excused form.
