Congratulations to Cam who was the top performer in the area fitness testing done by the Monroe Clinic Sports Dept. They tested 348 students and Cam was number one in all areas.
Music students did a great job at the Spring Concert yesterday. If you would like a copy of the program, please see Ms. Liebergen.
Track athletes should be released at 2:00 today, varsity golf at 2:15.
NHS will have a meeting today during Homeroom.
Anyone who has borrowed a chrome book from Mr. Sturnik’s room, please return it ASAP.
Everyone is encouraged to wear purple on Wednesday to support the Lafayette County Relay for Life theme of Paint Your World Purple. Purple flowers can be bought for $1.00 from Mrs. Davis or Mrs. Leary.
On Wednesday you can also wear a hat of your choice for $1.00. The class with the most money raised will win an ice cream sundae party. There will be one MS class winner and one HS class winner. Pay the dollar to your homeroom teacher, please.
Awards & Scholarship night is Wednesday, May 18th. The awards program starts at 7:00 PM, scholarships around 7:45. This is an important occasion, so please dress up. If you are receiving an award, you will receive an invitation.
FFA members: the State FFA convention is June 14 – 16. The applications are posted outside of the ag room. They are due on Wednesday, May 18th.
Reminder to Seniors who receive any scholarships, it is very important to write a thank you back to the person or organization giving the scholarship.
Seniors taking virtual classes need to be completed by May 27th. Everyone else needs to be completed by May 31st.
Seniors: all bills need to be paid before graduation, including your AP exam fee of $91.00.
The Green County YMCA is offering a Red Cross Lifeguard class in June. There are a couple posters near the locker rooms with information.
Argyle School District is seeking student workers for seasonal (LTE) employment for the summer of 2016 (June – August). The duties may include but not be limited to: moving and/or lifting furniture, sanitizing classrooms, desks, floors and/or other duties as assigned. Hours will be determined on a weekly basis. If interested in this position, please fill out a District application (see the website) and submit a letter of interest to Mr. Updike by Friday, May 27th.
