Dear Parents and Guardians:
We have completed contact tracing of staff and students with our current closure. Information from this morning has indicated we will need to extend virtual instruction for our 6th and 7th grade students. We will be able to return to in person instruction with some of our High School students earlier than anticipated. Please find the instruction plan for the groups currently affected listed below.
- Middle School students (6-8) – Virtual instruction through Tuesday, March 23. Return to in-person instruction on Wednesday, March 24.
- Senior, Junior and Freshmen students - Virtual instruction through Tuesday, March 16. Return to in-person instruction on Wednesday, March 17.
- Sophomore students - Virtual instruction through Friday, March 19. Return to in-person instruction on Monday, March 22.
We continue to gather information with each of the issues that arise and make the best decision to ensure the safety of our students and staff. It has been and continues to be our goal to have in-person instruction disrupted as little as possible. That goal is balanced with the need to make sure we can provide in-person instruction in a safe manner for students and staff.
Please remember that if your children are sick, they should not be at school. Any students or staff members experiencing illnesses with symptoms resembling those of coronavirus should contact their healthcare provider.
I want to thank you for your patience and understanding. Please know I appreciate all you are doing to help as we navigate this year.
If you have questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
|
