January
What are the classes offered? (8th-11th grade)
What classes are needed? (8th-11th)
- Advisory session (Dates have been sent in google invite to staff and students)
- Transcript and credits worksheet Activity
- Dual credit class and Youth Apprenticeship options shared with advisory
What classes are students needing or wanting to take? (8th-11th)
- During Advisory (Dates have been sent in google invite to staff and students)
- Mrs. Cregan will assist classes in submitting their course requests using skyward and information students gained from prior activities.
February-March
- Course decisions made by Administration
- Master schedule is created by Mrs. Smith
April
- The system will use requests to create student schedules.
- Students will be supported to complete their schedule requests in Arena Scheduling.
End of April/Beginning of May
- Students will receive final schedules for the next school year
- 8th grade Parent Night regarding HS and class selection
May
- Schedule change requests can be made in May. In order to request a change, the student needs to send an email to Mrs. Cregan, a parent, and any teachers involved. The email should explain what class (including semester and class period) the student wants to drop and what they would like it replaced with.
- Schedule change requests may also be made one week before the start of the school year
